The schuett colonyQuant Automated Colony Counter is a state-of-the-art system designed for the high-throughput analysis of bacterial colonies and bacteriophage plaques. Equipped with a CCD-Firewire camera featuring autozoom and autofocus, this system ensures precise and efficient colony counting.

The light-proof sample chamber and sophisticated software enable differentiation by color, size, and shape, allowing users to process up to 400 Petri dishes per hour with up to 1,000 counts per dish. This system can handle mixed cultures, evaluating up to 8 colors simultaneously per dish. With settings easily stored and retrieved for future analyses, the schuett colonyQuant ensures consistent and accurate results.

Designed for use with Petri dishes of 60 and 90 mm diameter, the system provides exceptional transparency and sharpness through LED-array illumination. The software is Windows-based, presenting results in a table or image exportable to Excel®.
